Young Artists Workshop is proud to collaborate with Emerald Flamingo Studio, founded by veteran floral and event designer Dawn, whose nearly 20-year career has shaped some of the most stunning luxury events across Southern California and Hawaii.
This partnership is especially meaningful. Dawn is not only a highly respected creative, but also a former colleague and mentor from my time in the event design industry, where she helped shape my foundation in floral and artistic design. To now come full circle and create together in her beautifully designed Haleakala home studio, an open-air, island-inspired oasis, is truly special.
Together, we bring a blend of fine art education and elevated design experience, offering a workshop that is both creatively enriching and deeply immersive. This is more than a workshop, it’s a space to slow down, create, and reconnect through art.

Join us for a relaxing and creative morning exploring the art of mandala design and watercolor painting.
In this guided workshop, you’ll learn how to build a beautiful mandala step-by-step, then bring it to life with soft watercolor techniques on premium 12”x12” paper.
No experience is necessary - just come ready to slow down, create, and enjoy the process.
This workshop is designed to be both creative and calming, offering a unique opportunity to explore art as a form of mindfulness and self-expression.
All materials are provided. You’ll leave with a finished piece ready to display.
